Greetings!

Our u3a was set up in 1993 and we now have over a hundred and forty members from Glendale and beyond, with links to other groups at regional and national level. The latest version of the constitution can be viewed by clicking on the Constitution link below.

Many of the groups meet in The Cheviot Centre. Here, in this hive of activity, you will find our notice board as well as our bi-monthly programmes. Feel free to come and sample some of our sessions before you decide which things are for you.

Working to keep fit? Try table tennis, indoor bowls, or the exercise group. Enjoy cultural activities? There are art, history, literature, culture and philosophy as well. Whilst all groups are very sociable there is also the Cheviot Centre monthly film night to enjoy organised by the Gateway Trust.

Members can set up new interest groups and help is given to do this.

There are warnings about people losing money to rogue Scams to which have been added Winter Payment and 'keep warm' initiatives. Please do be very careful if you get any suspect messages, contacts or telephone calls.
