You can see the current Programme of U3A Meetings below. Most of our Meetings are held in the Cheviot Centre, Padgepool Place, Wooler.

Open Meetings - these are group meetings which have been opened to the general membership.

The Monthly Monday meetings alternate between News and Speaker, refreshments are available.

2025Mon 13th January 2025 Trevor Robinson will talk about The Science of Espionage - including exhibits at a spy museum in the US and one in Berlin which he has been to.
Mon 10th March 2025 Madeleine Ravetta The Life of a Foundling. The talk includes moving personal stories and is illustrated by artworks in the Coram Foundling Museum Collection.
12th May 2025  A Look Inside a Bee Hive, Andy Middleton
Mon 14th July 2025  The Craze for Cut Steel: a Forgotten Fashion, Judith Oughton

15th SEPTEMBER 2025 – Climate Change: An Alternative View by Dr. Anthony Robb.  Anthony will give a thought provoking talk on global warming.
10th NOVEMBER 2025 – Legacy Fortress for Generations by a representative from Silvertime Legal.  The talk will cover essential estate planning insights to include:

Lasting Power of Attorney
Managing Care Fees
Sideways Disinheritance
