Travel through the ages as we explore history in its broadest sense. A friendly group with wide-ranging interests in all aspects of history.

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 2.30 until 4.30 in the Cheviot Centre but start earlier during the winter weather, from November 1:30 to 3:30.

Homildon hill as it was once known is just outside Wooler and is mentioned by Shakespeare on Henry IV Part 1 after the battle of 1402 when the Earl of Northumberland and his son Harry Hotspur defeated the Scots army led by Archibald Douglas.
